Alexis has lost her first top/front tooth! She lost her two bottom teeth last year. She is losing them slowly, but the dentist says that this is good. The longer she keeps her baby teeth, the healthier her permanent teeth will be in adulthood. Last week she lost her tooth! The tooth fairy had such a busy night that she didn't come the first night. But the next night she brought 3 coins, a shiny gold $1, a dime and a penny. For those of you who might think, what an odd assortment? Let me explain. When Alexis lost her first tooth she got $1, she also got to keep her first tooth. The next tooth she got 2 quarters (the tooth fairy was a bit short on cash), but Alexis read into it that the tooth fairy had given her 2 things for her second tooth. So now the tooth fairy is feeling the need to continue on with the tradition and therefore gave her 3 things for her 3rd tooth. Now this fairy is also very smart because Alexis is at the age that she needs to start paying tithing. Wouldn't you know it, the tithing for $1.11 is 11 cents, one dime and one penny. Alexis gets to keep the $1! What a smart fairy ;)

She does look very cute! :) I lost all of my baby teeth very quickly and the first ones to come out were my two front tops and bottoms (at the same time!!) I was roller skating in my house and I slipped and my face hit the fridge and out popped those four teeth (they were already loose).
Yes, I will have to agree that your tooth fairy is very smart and tricky! I will remember this for when Hannah starts to lose teeth. :)
i like that the tooth fairy was "thinkin" about tithing. Have to remember that next time. Also glad to hear that it's been that long between her losing the bottom & the top. Race lost his bottom this last summer but hasn't lost anymore. He's been sad, I told him that it was okay & better to hang onto his baby teeth as long as he could, now I can show him this post & let him know about Alexis. Cute pic of her too. She is one of the cutest little girls.

hey that is awesome. that thing with keeping your baby theeth in longer is great... atleast for taylor she still has a ton of baby teeth but she is getting there.
