Vacuum Monster!
The Vacuum is a monster, or at least according to Skyler it is. I have never seen a kid more scared of a simple housecleaning tool before. It terrifies him! I am not exaggerating either. Wheneve
r I turn it on he goes running. Sometimes he gets cornered and can't get away, well you can clearly see how that turns out. One day I was vacuuming Alexis's room and her baby doll was on the floor. I got closer and closer to it with the vacuum and Skyler started to do this hysterical dance "baby, baby, baby, baby"! Each time he would try to grab the baby doll away from the vacuum but was too overcome by fear to even get close. I nearly laughed my butt off! When I vacuum downstairs and he is with me, he hides 
underneath the computer desk in hopes that he won't get sucked up by the monster. Boy does it make him crazy when I have to vacuum by the computer and he is stuck under there. The interesting thing to note is that because of his asthma we have to vacuum more than normal. And guess who the biggest culprit of messes is??? That's right, my vacuum feared baby boy! If he wasn't such a terd about making such big messes I might feel sorry for him, but most of the time I am thinking, "Serves ya right, maybe you'll think twice next time before you dump the entire bag of goldfish on the carpet and them smash them with your feet!"

Oh, I so know this feeling (on your end). I laugh too when it scares my kids to death. Happy vacuuming. Maybe someday they will learn....nah.

That whole post was so awesome. Bless his heart ... but, seriously - why do kids have to dump crumbs and then stomp on them?!? Great pictures.
My girls used to be scared of it, but now they make a game out of it and they start to say "Monster coming." Then they giggle and run to the couch which is their safe place and they hide under their blankets on the couch until I am done. Kids are fun!
That is kind-of sad and funny all at the same time. Kristy's kids cry to vaccum. They love it. OOh kids are so silly!
that is funny. if i was scared of that would you corner me with a vacum? I know the answer and that is yes.
