Apparently my kids love stroganoff. My dad used to make it all the time when I was growing up, and I thought it was okay, but it wasn't my favorite. I haven't made it since we first got married and thought that I would give it a try; I had some steak that I needed to use and wanted something different than the same old, same old. I am amazed at how much they loved it! Alexis asked if she could have more, and if she could have it again for breakfast. Skyler asked for more too, and didn't throw it on the floor after the first bite. WOW! He actually ate food! Domenic is a great eater and will eat just about anything, but even he did really well with how much he ate! Guess Stroganoff is a hit!

steak stroganoff is one of kent's specialties! what do you put in your sauce?
I must admit that this time I used the simple and easy fall back of a Banquet package mix. I did however add evaporated milk, some garlic, some lemon pepper, and some sour cream to the recipe, but sadly I was only half way cooking from scratch!
